Every year, the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) celebrates National Roofing Week, and this year’s celebration is happening June 2nd through the 9th. Of course we think it’s important to increase awareness about maintaining the roof on your business throughout the year – National Roofing Week provides an additional opportunity for us to share our passion for excellence in roofing with our clients and the community.
What is National Roofing Week?
The mission of National Roofing Week is to “promote the importance of hiring a professional roofing contractor and making informed decisions about maintaining of replacing any roof system”. Throughout the year, we always look for ways to share helpful tips with our customers and the community.
You can always find informative blogs about various ways to help care for your building’s roof, such as seasonal care for your roof in the spring, fall and winter. When we can, we also like to focus on ways you can care for your roof to increase its longevity and avoid costly roof replacements.
National Roofing Week is also focused on highlighting the industry’s generosity, and on June 7th the first NRCA Giving Day will focus on raising funds to benefit the Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program. The goal is to raise $100,000 in gifts, which will go to providing additional scholarships to students who plan to pursue careers in the roofing or construction industries.
One of the most important aspects of National Roofing Week is for roofing companies – such as ourselves – to show their appreciation for their staff; and we could not have a more incredible staff to thank!
