Kodiak Roofing & Waterproofing is heavily involved as Sacramento revitalizes itself and builds for the future. One of the biggest projects happening in Sacramento currently is the construction of the Ice Blocks property.
Ice Blocks is Sacramento’s newest retail, office, and residential property space. The Kodiak team is leading the charge on all of the siding and roofing for this new set of buildings. Once an old ice manufacturing plant which burned down in November 2015, it’s now being built into a prestigious mixed-use, work-live-play apartment building. Developers of the project state that you’re “paying for a lifestyle, not just an apartment.” So yes, you can expect rates to be high if you’re looking to rent a spot at Ice Blocks.
Kodiak is installing a single-ply roof and covering the outside walls with metal wall panels around the entire building. The job is expected to be done mid-March of 2018.
