Charitable Commercial Roofing Projects

Our company was founded with four main missions, one of which is to provide employees with meaningful work. Whether we’re working on the California State Capitol or an intimate community center, no job is too big or too small, and we approach every project with the goal of providing quality roofing and waterproofing solutions, as well as exceptional communication and customer service. But sometimes, truly special projects come along where we’re able to give back to our community, where our skills and resources are able to serve a greater good. We’re proud of the communities we serve, and when an opportunity arises to offer our services to support local organizations and charities with their efforts, we jump on it! We’re excited to share some of our charitable, commercial roofing projects in Sacramento, CA, with you!

Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House’s mission is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. The first Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) opened in Philadelphia, PA, in 1974 to provide parents with housing so they could stay near their hospitalized child. Since then, they’ve opened many more locations across the United States. Each location is located near a top children’s hospital in order to provide programs and support for the families caring for their sick child.

Sac State Team Solar

We’ve had the privilege of working with Sacramento State University before on their new science center. This time our team partnered with their solar team to help transform the Reflect Home – a two-bedroom home designed and built by Sac State students for the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2015 Solar Decathalon – into a Living Building. The Living Building Challenge is a program of the International Living Future Institute, which is the world’s most rigorous standard for green buildings because it generates more energy than it uses, is free of toxic chemicals, and dramatically diminishes its energy footprint. It’s the first Living Building on a California college campus and the second of its kind in Sacramento. The Reflect Home now houses the University Arboretum Learning Center. Learn more about the roof on Sac State and check out more photos of the Reflect Home project!

Koinonia Family Services

We believe it’s important to support programs that care for families and children in need in our community, which is why we partnered with Koinonia Family Services in Loomis, CA. Their programs provide hope and healing to families and children through their programs and services, including adoption, child advocacy, foster care, and substance abuse counseling. They needed help transforming an old building into a services career center, and our team provided the roofing materials and labor to install a new roof system. The center opened in January 2021 and provides hands-on career training to teenagers.
